Recipe | Amish Wedding Roast
For the Amish community, weddings are held in November and December on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. The weddings are typically held in the brides home with about 350-400 guests that will be invited. Services begin at 8:30 am and last until 11:30 am. The bride and groom will usually say their vows about 11:00 am.
Following the service, guests will be served a huge meal including Amish Roast, mashed potatoes, cooked celery, coleslaw, and desserts.
