Tour Spotlight | Backroads Bus Tour

Have you ever wanted to go off the beaten path, past working Amish farms, and along county roads where buggies roll along and farmers work their fields? Our Backroads Bus Tour, at The Amish Village, does all that, and more, and is fun for your entire family or group!

Our 14-passenger mini bus takes you out into the countryside of Lancaster County, for 90-minutes, and gives you a wonderful glimpse into the Amish way of life. All of our drivers, double as tour guides, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at Amish life. The driver discusses Amish history, customs, beliefs, and traditions all while letting you enjoying the beautiful countryside scenery.

One unique aspect of our Backroads Bus Tour is that it includes at least one stop at a local Amish business so you are able to purchase homemade products and/or food items made by a local Amish family. Some of the stops could include a produce stand, a bake shop, a pretzel bakery, a quilt shop, plus more!
